Trucks/Semi’s and B Doubles with poor maintenance records, poor driving practices have led to scrutiny within the industry and inexperienced drivers has led to numerous traffic incidences and more serious fatal accidents. For the industry to maintain its Overall Capital Value, it is the opinion of the writer that reform is needed between the management of the trucking companies and client relationships. Let’s make it clear, we need a safe and reliable trucking industry for Australia to keep moving forward. The Country needs the trucking industry to service the vast reaches of Australia, it just needs tiding up.
